First Interview 17th Feb.

I had my first interview on Thursday the 17th at UEL for Textile Print BA.
Took me about an hour in total to get there, got there just in time for the interview, i was very nervous about it all as it was my first interview i wasn't sure what to expect them to say/do/ask given that all universities do it differently.
They specified they wanted no more than 25 sheets and 2 sketch books of drawings, i brought along 23 sheets and 2 books of colour palettes, mood board, testers and drawing to show a mixture of techniques and manipulations.

The interview was half an hour long, i was told to talk the interviewer through my work, talking through each piece, meanings behind each, techniques used etc, i made sure to specify the flow of my work and the mixture in techniques to show my ability, she questioned the fashion pictures on some of my pages, i stressed the point that they weren't for the fashion they were for the texture/colour and shapes in the pages, mood board like.

she finally looked into my books, she loved my coloured acrylic bubblewrap which i printed onto a material which i was happy with, she said overall she enjoyed looking to my work, she then ended the interview by saying i had successfully done well in the interview therefore got a place on their Textile Print BA course!
