For my final major project i am looking into a theme to kick off with in my project, i came across an artist called Tessa Farmer in an article in an old Vogue, they talk about the 'tiny, fantastical' small 12mm high creations she makes which are currently on exhibition in the Saatchi gallery.
Her work is intriguing, using only raw materials such as roots, mud, and real fairy wings. Her works delicate and time consuming, I want to focus on her delicate approach to organic materials, basing myself through photography and manipulation, i believe Tessa Farmers work is incredible up close however from a camera perspective is just as detailed and sophisticated, i want to interpret this into my work.
